1.What is the settlement time of futures?
T+0. Futures operate on a T+0 settlement cycle, meaning positions opened can be closed on the same trading day.
2. Why does the cash balance shows sufficient fund but not entitle to trade contracts?
Initial margin is required to open a position. Since intraday profit and loss (P&L) affects the usable balance, the actual amount available for trading is calculated as: [Available Funds] – [Margin Requirement].
3. How to get equivalent fund for trading products right after deposit to Phillip?
Once Customer Service (CS) confirms receipt of your deposit, you may call our Futures Desk at 2277 6677 to request a temporary trading limit, or fax your deposit receipt to 2277 6866.
4. Is there any ticker limit on index options?
Yes. To prevent fat-finger orders, order prices are restricted to within ±300 points of the latest transaction price.
