1. How to apply for ESOFS?
Firstly, open “Margin” type account with Phillip Securities (HK) Ltd. That is free of charge for account setup. The applicant is able to submit the application through online. Certain personal identification document is required to upload.
2. If the employee is staying overseas, is it possible to open account with Phillip Securities (HK) Ltd.?
Yes, the employee may complete physical application form and return it to the corresponding personnel or administration department of the employer for verification.
3. How does the employee get access to the securities account?
The employee can apply for online service during account application. Once the account is successfully set up, verification code and password will be delivered through email.
4. Is there any relationship manger to be assigned to offer better ESOSF service?
Yes, relationship manager is to be assigned to serve the particular client who participates ESOSF.
5. When the employee exercises eligible stock options, what should he or she do?
Complete and return the original exercise instruction to Phillip HK. The employee’s signature must be original and verified by Phillip properly.
6. Is the employee able to maintain the account, after employee stock options have been exercised?
Yes, the employee is able to enjoy other services which Phillip provide under the securities account.
